ZEROt: Trade and service

Features

Supermarket and Wholesale Modes

In supermarket mode, sales are processed via barcode scanners, reducing manual intervention to a minimum. In wholesale mode, additional features are designed for manual entry, which helps speed up operations and ensure full control.

Standard and Touchscreen POS Interfaces

The sales interface designed for shops, supermarkets, and similar businesses is not suitable for restaurants, bistros, coffee shops, and other hospitality establishments. Therefore, we have integrated a dedicated interface in the software specifically designed for touchscreen operation. In this mode, items and categories are displayed on the screen with small images, significantly speeding up the selection process.

Price Change Monitoring for Sales and Purchases

Purchase and selling price updates are fully synchronized across receiving documents, price-setting sheets, and system reports. This ensures that any potential losses due to incorrectly set markups are entirely avoided in your business operations.

24/7 Support

We provide software support during your business hours. Software maintenance is fully covered by our subscription plans and delivered remotely (an active internet connection is mandatory). Please note that hardware technical support, OS troubleshooting, and network maintenance are excluded from the subscription packages. For more details on these, please visit the Services section on our website.

ECR Integration

Any law-compliant Electronic Cash Register (ECR) can be integrated with the software. The integration supports both the itemized mode (typically mandatory for a sales turnover exceeding 24 million AMD) and the non-itemized mode (a simplified ECR receipt). Furthermore, both modes support not only sales processing but also fiscalization of returns and the issuance of advance payment ECR receipts. Integrated ECR reports (X and Z reports) are also generated directly through the software without disconnecting the ECR.

Scale Integration with the Software

You can integrate barcode-labeling scales as well as direct-weight data-transfer scales. Additionally, one scale can support a single POS terminal or multiple checkout lanes at the same time.

Printing ECR receipts with Buyer TIN

When printing a cash register receipt, you can enter the customer's Tax ID (TIN) directly into the system. This enables seamless B2B corporate sales. Additionally, if a client requires both a fiscal receipt and a tax invoice, the software automatically links the ECR receipt number to the invoice data field, completely eliminating the risk of double taxation.

Accounting for eMark Identification (QR) Codes

At checkout, items can be scanned directly using their eMark identification (QR) codes. Alternatively, the software supports standard barcode scanning, in which case the system dynamically requests an eMark (QR) code based on the product's HS/FEACN code. If the user attempts to finalize a sale containing mandatory eMark products without scanned verification codes, the software displays a warning. Furthermore, the system cross-references the total count of scanned eMark codes against the physical quantity of the goods sold.

Invoicing via the Taxservice.am system

Issuing electronic tax invoices through our platform is done with just a single mouse click. The software independently detects the seller's tax status, whether a specific transaction is VAT-inclusive, and whether the document is for products or services. The system can export the invoice XML to the desktop, forward it to accounting, or upload it instantly to the taxservice.am portal. Additionally, the assigned invoice series and number are automatically synchronized and updated in the system within seconds.

Multiple barcodes for the same product

Multiple barcodes can be assigned to a single product. These can be used to consolidate various colors, flavors, or variations of the item, as well as to link cases and single units. The system allows you to configure a quantity multiplier for the case/box barcode. When scanned at checkout, the software automatically multiplies the item count by this pre-set coefficient.

Inventory tracking by product model, size, color, and other attributes

Beyond the primary product code, the nomenclature catalog includes dedicated fields like "External System Code," "Unique ID," and "Product Model." The model field serves to consolidate multiple variants—such as sizes, colors, or other characteristics—under a single parent item. For instance, when processing footwear sales, the user can instantly view available sizes, real-time stock levels, and color options for that specific model. Additionally, the system fully supports attribute-based pricing if different variations require distinct retail prices.

Flexible and powerful discount system

Our platform features a diverse range of discount configuration and deployment models designed to meet even the most complex business logic. Key capabilities include automated product discounts triggered by transactional volume thresholds (up to three brackets), custom date windows, or designated time-of-day slots. Additionally, the system supports real-time, on-the-fly markdown options directly within the checkout interface via manual unit price overrides, percentage-based discounts, or overall invoice value deductions.

Different selling prices for the same product by store location

The system allows you to configure multi-store differential pricing for a single SKU. This capability is vital for retail chains managing regional pricing strategies, where identical products require localized price points. Additionally, the software supports price replication, enabling users to synchronize and push pricing matrices established for one branch to other selected store locations.

Ability to sell at a price higher than the established retail price

Subject to specific role-based access control, the system supports price overrides allowing sales above the fixed retail rate. Additionally, the software accommodates standard or custom discounts calculated directly against this newly inflated price.

Wholesale, retail, loyalty, and customer price lists

The system distinguishes between multiple pricing tiers during sales rate configuration. It features three built-in price matrices: wholesale, retail, and loyalty. Beyond these defaults, the software supports customer-specific and group-based pricelists mapped directly to client contract agreements. Every price adjustment is audit-logged as a standalone document, allowing users to export a official price authorization decree.

Ability to sell to a buyer at their last purchase price

The platform features a specialized setting to activate history-based pricing for designated customers. For instance, if Buyer 1 received a targeted markdown on a product in their prior order, the system automatically retrieves that exact historical discount and populates it in the active checkout session. This value remains fully adjustable in real time, allowing cashiers to override the discount percentage or clear it completely; the system then logs the new baseline to apply during subsequent transactions.

Accumulative (Bonus) Cards

The system supports both magnetic swipe and barcode-scannable loyalty reward cards. You can establish either a uniform points-accrual percentage or item-specific reward rates, alongside custom conditional triggers. At checkout, operators can seamlessly load change or partial change balances directly onto the loyalty (bonus) card account, while accumulated points can be redeemed on the spot to tender current transactions.

Sales across multiple cash registers

Transactions are tracked on a per-register basis within the platform. Dedicated cash terminals are fully integrated into the reporting module, enabling users to isolate datasets using terminal-specific filters. At checkout initialization, cashiers are bypassed from terminal selection screens because configurations allow a specific workstation to be mapped to a dedicated POS terminal, ensuring automated routing upon login. Furthermore, role-based access rights can be overridden to grant authorized users the autonomy to manually select any available workstation register during session startup.

Support for creating and entering new products

With an active internet connection, scanning a new item's barcode or eMark (QR) code from the product directory initiates a real-time query to the ZEROth server. Upon retrieving a matching record, the software prompts the user to autofill the product name, unit of measure, and HS/FEACN code. Once approved by the operator, these data fields populate automatically. If declined, the system defaults to manual data entry for the employee.

Sales processing via multiple selling legal entities

Imagine a setup where a department inside a retail store is subleased to an independent merchant under a third-party POS fulfillment agreement. At checkout, when processing a unified shopping cart, the system automatically splits the inventory items based on their respective legal merchant entities, generating dedicated fiscal receipts or electronic invoices for each vendor. Additionally, the platform automates real-time split-settlements for credit card and digital payments, accurately routing the revenue streams across the corresponding corporate entities.

Tracking cashier and sales staff shifts

Cash shifts are initiated automatically, while closing a shift requires just a single click. System reports provide full visibility into cash, card, and credit transactions per shift, along with cash drops to the vault and remaining register balances. Users can also review the exact duration of each shift alongside other operational data.

Sales tracking by retail channels and sales representatives

Segmenting by sales endpoints allows businesses to track orders by specific tables in restaurants and cafes, or by room numbers in guesthouses. Under this workflow, users can exit the active endpoint's order window without finalizing the sale, print pre-checks, monitor real-time endpoint status (occupied vs. vacant), and change the assigned server (waiter). Reassigning or linking a server (waiter) to a transaction can be executed either via personal magnetic swipe cards or manually by entering a PIN code.

Deduction of product (kit) components

In the nomenclature directory, users can configure the components (Bill of Materials) for each product. These components are tracked on a historical timeline, meaning any modification automatically generates a new version of the recipe with a new effective date. Thanks to this version control, the software can execute retrospective inventory adjustments over large historical intervals without disrupting cost calculations or stock balances. Users can also print these product specifications directly from the platform to maintain compliant physical documentation and enforce strict material liability.

Ability to restrict specific product sales with a password

Some businesses carry specific items that are highly critical and require enhanced security control. To address this, our system provides a feature to password-protect the sale of restricted products. Cashiers are blocked from processing these items until the required password authorization is completed. This function is typically utilized for high-value merchandise, such as luxury watches or precious gemstones.
